A breastfeeding necklace is to be worn by mum whilst she breastfeeds her baby. It can also be used for a bottle-fed baby and can therefore be worn by dad also!! The basic function is to keep your baby's attention whilst they feed, to try to prevent the inevitable hair pulling, glasses being removed, looking around the room, pinching and scratching. I am sure the list is endless, but you get the idea! It a safe distraction for your baby.

The necklaces are also great for social interaction. My toddler, who is still being breast fed, loves to point out the different colours, shapes and animals. When he was younger I used it to keep him occupied, e.g. whilst waiting in the baby clinic.

They are specifically made with safety in mind from fun colourful and attractive non-toxic acrylic beads individually designed to stimulate your baby through tactile and visually stimulating beads.

I do not use dangerous glass beads or wooden beads that may splinter. The necklaces are strung on ultra strong waterproof cord (not fishing line like some other necklaces on the market) tested to 100lbs breaking strain and are knotted to minimise loss of beads in the unlikely event of a breakage. The necklace is secured very strongly using a unique knotting method.

All my items are made in a clean environment which is both smoke and pet free.

My necklaces are NOT sold as a baby teether therefore there is no true requirement to sterilize. This particular necklace cannot be steralized due to the bells but instead can simply be wiped over with a baby wipe for aesthetic cleansing.

This particular necklace consists of bright coloured beads of yellow blue and white, including a variety of animals and bells.
